Pueo Women’s Native American Drum Circle – “Women Praying Around the Drum”

Meets Tuesdays, 7-9pm, Haiku, Maui, HI. We open with a prayer to the Four Directions, and a Talking Circle to greet each woman. Our songs are our prayers. Each circle creates and enlivens this community of women who pray and play together. We are all different, and yet each finds her voice through the power of the drum. As our way of “Giving Back” to the community at large, this Circle performs at many live events here in our beautiful island home. Bring your own drum or join us around Tsonakwa, the Mother Drum. Shaman’s Song Native American Flute Circle – “Men & Women Sharing the Melody of Prayer”

First Monday of the Month, 7-9pm. Share in the peaceful meditative quality of the Native American flute. Come to play or to listen and heal.
After Opening Prayer and Talking Circle, we play individually and collectively, sharing tips and techniques. The song of the flute is a journey unto itself, entrancing, healing and deeply joyful.
